Trip to Cali...Part 2

Our second day in California we went to the Monterray Bay Aquiarium. It was so fun!

I don't even remember what is in this globe thing but obviously Madison thought it was fun!

There was a tunnel filled with little fish tanks and Kaylynn went through it a few times. This one is her with the Nemo fishes!

There is a whole section devoted to sea horses, it was pretty cool! I don't have a picture of this but Kaylynn's main priority was to see the "Super Scary Sharks"(her words not mine!) and when describing the Hammerhead sharks she puts her hands up on the side of her head to look like it!haha!

Our attempt at a family picture on the beach right outside the aquirium. Obviously Madison has her objections! She really loved the ocean, she laughed when the waves came up around her legs. Then we took her away from it and tried to make her sit on mommy's lap...thus the crying!

So we tried this, you can't see it but the waves are coming up around her and my mom was standing on a rock in the middle of it! haha

Trip To Cali...Part 1

We had a fabulous vacation in California August 4-9! We went mainly for my brother's wedding but also decided to go do some fun things!

This is Madison on the Shuttle Bus on the way to pick up our rental car!
Ben's fiance's (now wife!) family was very gracious and let us stay in their pool house. So our first day there was spent in the pool and then later we went to Santa Cruz. Kaylynn turned into a lil fish while we were there, seriously! She absolutely loved the pool and got quite brave (almost too brave) by the end!
We started swimming while Madison took a nap and she woke up part way through so I got her in her swimsuit and brought her out, stuck her in her floatie and within minutes she was fast asleep! haha!
She woke up and had some fun a little while later!
Our first night we went to Santa Cruz to the board walk. It was a blast! It's like a fair, tons of rides and even a roller coaster (it was awesome!).
Kaylynn had a blast and was so brave! I wasn't sure if she was going to want to ride anything by herself but she just jumped right in!

Old Roomies!!!!

Megan, Tammy, Collette and I lived together over 5 years ago. We had so much fun, some days it's crazy to think that we all have husbands and kids! We got together recently and went to see Tales of Desperaux at theater and then came over to my house for lunch and let the kids play. We had so much fun that we are going to make this a monthly ritual!

This is the best group shot we got, I set the camera up on the play ground thing and had to run! hehe! From the left, Me, Madison and Kaylynn. Then Tammy, Autumn, Cloey and Lily. Then Collete with Aaron (her daughter BreeAnna stayed at home to take a well needed nap) and then Megan with Tristan and Reece.

Eleven Months Old!

I can't believe Madison is eleven months old! This is my last monthly post, the next one will be the big 1! Madison is such a sweet loving baby. She truly is a joy to be around. She cracks us up with her little antics. She truly adores Kaylynn and follows her around and loves to play with her. We love you Madison!

Five Amazing Years!

I can't believe it, I have been married to the most amazing man in the world for five years! June 19th marked our anniversary. A lot of things have changed, and a lot of things are still the same. Five years later we have the most darling little girls you have ever seen, Chad is one year away from his degree, we have moved 3 times (this last time in with my parents, never saw that one coming! lol) We have owned 7 vehicles! We have gone on a some really fun vacations! In the next five years there will be a ton of adventures, but whether they are good or not I am excited to have Chad with me for all of them! We had a fun evening planned, dinner and a movie (hey that is exciting!) But we started the evening off on the temple grounds with our tripod. We had a ton of fun taking as many pictures as we could before the storm hit!

This was us "getting lower" because Chad didn't think we were in the shot yet! haha
