Up and Down!

Kaylynn and Madison were playing together so well! Kaylynn would lift her head up and so would Madison and then when Kaylynn would lay her head down so would Madison, it was SO fun to watch! They crack me up!

So Sweet!

Becca's New Do

Not the best picture, but it's what you get when you try to take one of yourself! I love my new haircut! My old roommate Megan is a fabulous hair stylist, I love it because I can tell her that I don't know what I want to do and she always surprises me with a hair cut that I love! This is a less dramatic A line and I didn't think I would like it but I do!

Tiger Woods?

Maybe she will make millions and we can retire at the old age of 45...okay probably not but she has a lot of fun attempting to hit the ball.  The club also got dangerously close to the TV...this is now an outside toy!

Notice in all these pictures the ball never moved...

Madison is 9 months old!!!

We can't believe that our little Madison Emily is getting so big! She is an absolute joy to have in our family!

Here are 9 new things about Madison:
1. She is so busy and curious, constantly moving around and trying to grab things! Her fine motor skills are amazing, she can pick tiny things up.
2. She has her two bottom front teeth!
3. She loves to talk...loudly! Some of her favorite sounds are Da, Ba, Ma, Na, Pa
4. She loves to dance and has quite the inner beat! Anytime music plays she gets her little hiney going in sync with her shoulders! So cute! I got a video clip of it but it won't upload to the blog...bummer!
5. She can play patty cake!
6. She waves when you say hi or bye to her!
7. She is starting to get up on her knees and rock back and forth.
8. She gives the best cuddles! She just randomly ducks into your neck and gives you loves.  So sweet! We call her our little cuddle bug!
9. She is eating soft table foods.

Funny, Funny Kaylynn!

She certainly keeps us laughing! Today was particularly cute.  She had finished going to the bathroom and couldn't button up her pants.  She asked if I could do it.  I leaned down and attempted to with one hand (I was holding Madison).  I couldn't do it so I said "Let's go downstairs and ask daddy because he has two hands do it with and mommy only has one because she is holding Madison." Kaylynn, "Okay mommy" Then a few moments later and looking at her hands, "I have two hands...but they don't work!"

Boise Spring Fling 2009

Every year Boise State hosts this huge event called the Spring Fling.  It is geared towards students and their families.  This year marked the 31st annual Spring Fling...I give you all this information because I have been a student there for 6 years (on and off) and Chad has been a student there for 5 consecutive years and this is the first time we had ever heard of it!!!  Crazy! Kaylynn had a blast, there were tons of blow up things to climb, slide and jump on.  They had very talented people there making balloon animals for the kids.  Chad was in a V-ball tournament ( it was fun watching him play...I don't flinch as much as I used too!) And the band Everclear was there!  It was fun to hear a song that took me back to 9th grade!

Everywhere we go people comment on how blue and beautiful Madison's eyes are.  We think they are stunning! In the line for the balloon animals the guy in front of us was completely enthrolled with her eyes.  He couldn't believe how vivid they were.  So here's to our beautiful blue eyed baby!
Kaylynn had lots of love for daddy! She had so much fun watching him play volleyball!

TEETH!!!!

Madison has her two bottom teeth!!! We found them on Aril 29th but one of them is already half way up so I am sure it came in a little while ago! Madison is a fabulous teether! We didn't even suspect that her teeth were making their debut! No crankiness, fever or anything! yay!
It's the best shot I could get...she moves-a lot! Just squint and pretend you can see them!

The Craft Bug has bitten!

I have been feeling the need to craft lately! (it's so much more fun than all the other things I should be doing instead!)  I came up with this after seeing a picture frame involving chicken wire and I thought it would work great to hang bows on.  I love how it ended up!
Super cute huh!!! Now I just need to get bitten by the cleaning bug....hmmmm.

Sleeping Beauties!

So we got home from our Utah trip late in the evening.  The kids were exhausted so we put them to bed.  Chad and I went in to check on them before we went to bed and we had to take pictures, it was too funny!
We laid Madison in her crib on her back with the blanket on her, she flipped over and turned her body around...her feet are where her head should be.  Honestly, Kaylynn's position is the real reason we busted out the camera.

We still can't decide if she fell out of bed or if she chose this position! Either way it was pretty funny!  This is what happens with over tired kids!
