I have been feeling the need to craft lately! (it's so much more fun than all the other things I should be doing instead!) I came up with this after seeing a picture frame involving chicken wire and I thought it would work great to hang bows on. I love how it ended up!

Super cute huh!!! Now I just need to get bitten by the cleaning bug....hmmmm.

I love it Becca, super cute! Maybe you will have to show me how to make one. :o) I have one but not as big or cute!!
VERY cute! I love it!
That crafty bug has been bugging me recently. I haven't given in...YET. I can't hold it off much longer though.
Good luck on the cleaning bug biting. That's not nearly as fun.
Where do you get chicken wire?
I've never seen a bowholder like that before! You should sell it with your cute bows!
That is so cute! Good job!
This is an INCREDIBLE idea! I really love how you use the chicken wire instead of the ribbon, making it more secure. Can't wait to link this!
Thanks everyone! Kari, please do link this! If you need better instructions or anything let me know! It was such a fun project!
Becca, just wanted to let you know I featured you today. Feel free to grab an "I was featured" button!
I saw this over on UCreate and wanted to let you know that you did a fabulous job. Love it girl!
Soooo cute! Please give instructions on how you made this!
I saw this on Ucreate...so cute! If I ever have a little girl I will definitely have to make one! Great job :)
Popped over from Ucreate...super duper adorable! I'm bookmarking it for future use...my baby girl is 6months old and bald...but eventually will need a place to store hair bows!
Thanks for the great idea :)
I found this tutorial on UCreate, and made one for a gift. I posted about it on my blog and added link back to this page so everyone knew where the inspiration came from.. hope you don't mind!
This is so cute. Can you tell me what kind of backing is behind the wire and paper? Is it like a photo frame with cardboard backing. I have some frames with no backing and just trying to figure out how to do this. Thanks!
Susan
Susan,
Originally I used foam core on this one and duct taped it down. I have since made a few and have used the cardboard back of the frame and it is easier that way. I used fabric behind the wire instead of paper because mine is in my bathroom so I wanted something a little more durable. If you have any more questions please ask, it was a kind of try and see if this works project for me :) At some point I am hoping to take pictures while making one and do a step by step...we'll see!
How did you adhere the ribbon to the back? Stapled?
Susan
Hot glue and then stapled!
This is the cutest & most unique hair bow holder I have seen! Is there any way you could give me some step-by-step instructions on how to make one? I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks :)
Where did you get your chicken wire from? I have been looking for some but can't find it! Thanks and great job!
I found the chicken wire at Lowes. You have to buy a ton but it is fairly inexpensive.
This is such a classy bow holder! I'm so excited to find a 'different' style to hold bows and flowers than the single piece of fabric on the wall. is there a link to find all the details and instructions?
Love this bow holder! I would love to make one for my little girls! If you do have step-by-step pictures/instructions that you are willing to share, I would greatly appreciate it!!
