For Mother's Day Chad bought me a ticket to go with my mom to see Carrie Underwood on
June 1st. It was amazing. We had a great time and if you ever get the chance to see Carrie in concert it is well worth the money. She performs with everything she's got, she must be thoroughly exhausted after each show!
Mom and I before the show started. We had really good seats, off to the side and super close. Although Carrie performed to the center a lot so we mostly saw her profile.
Sons of Sylvia opened for her, they are incredibly talented. Craig Morgan also opened for the, he is absolutely hilarious!
Carrie rode a truck out to the middle of the audience and sang a couple of songs to the back crowd, she passed by us on her way to the middle.
So my mom became a rebel at this concert. How, you might ask. Well she was taking video footage with her camera (along with the other thousands of people there) and for some reason the event staff guy in our section didn't like her taking footage. Everyone else apparently were okay to do it but not mom... It was a little frustrating because he kept singling her out. My opinion is we were in the end seats and she was easy to get to and she is an older woman who happened to be fully clothed. Who wants to pick on the drunk half dressed twenties something girl when you can pick on my very dangerous looking mom. It actually kind of ruined part of the experience for us, we were frustrated! (rant over) So here I am being a rebel by posting the clips! lol. Enjoy!
