Pretend Makeup for the kids means...

Fun craft time for the moms! I got this great idea from this craft tutorial. Kara and I had a blast making fake makeup for our princesses.
We filled our old makeup containers with nail polish. A note for anyone wanting to do this, when the nail polish dries it shrinks...a lot...like to barely anything. So we had to refill the next day.
The finished products, Kaylynn is gonna flip! (and to be honest, it was REALLY fun to do!!!)
The foundation was the best, it looked so real! We also had a lot of mishaps (err I mean learning experiences! lol we made ourselves feel better by saying that it looks more realstic, ya know...used.)
Lip gloss on the top and some fun eyeshadow on the bottom.

Our Annual Fall Walk!

Every year for the past three years we go for a walk down a gorgeous historic street. Normally we try to do it before Halloween to see the houses all decked out but it just didn't happen. So yesterday we finally went for our walk, our friends the McBrides and the Huffs were able to come with us. We had so much fun looking at the gorgeous houses, kicking the leaves and hunting for acorns to bring home!

Kaylynn was quite attatched to Mylee, and Mylee didn't seem to mind! They were holding hands and decided they needed to rest.
So CUTE!

We stopped for a pic on the way back to our car, we totally forgot to get a family shot on the pretty street...thus the cars in the background instead of pretty houses! hehe

We parked at the junior high Chad used to coach at, it is a pretty, old, brick building. I love how this shot turned out!

Halloween Festivities!!!

This a monster of a post, it was a monster of a week too! We had SO much Halloween fun that I decided to do one BIG post instead of a bunch of little ones. So here is what we did the week of Halloween. We started off on Monday with a Preschool Halloween party. We played Bingo, painted wooden magnets, decorated cupcakes and trick or treated (a parent in each room!). On Wednesday Kaylynn was able to wear a cat costume to gymnastics (the Belle dress was way to big for that!) and it was also "show" week so they each had a turn in the spotlight to show off what they learned during that term. Then on Halloween day we dressed up and went to our ward's Chilli cook off and trunk or treat. After that we headed over to my grandma's house for cinnamin rolls and doughnuts with the family! Such a great week!
On our way to the preschool party!
Yummy Owl Cupcake!
Madison LOVED the Oreo's

Kate and Kaylynn at gymnastics...super cute best friends!!!

She did the beam all by herself! I was so proud!

Table! (sidenote: look at her tail...lol)

Madison had fun during free time. For the last few weeks she has been wanting so badly to go into the gym with Kaylynn instead of watching from the outside. She loved being able to go run around in there.

Beautiful Belle on Halloween!

She loved being Belle and walked around saying things like, "Don't I look lovely?" and "Oh my!"

Cutie Pa Tootie li'l flower! She waddled in it, so funny!

Kate and Kaylynn at the Trunk or Treat, they held hands almost the whole time! What pretty little Princesses!
Mommy and Madison!

Trying to capture a picture with 5 lil ones is harder than it seems!
Madison, Kaylynn, Mylee, Breckon and Lincoln. Cute little buddies!
Again trying to capture a picture with 5 moving kiddos! lol This was at my grandma's house. We had fun seeing all the little outfits!
Lily (Ariel), Madison, Kaylynn, Cloey (Cinderella) and Autumn the lil Owl
The girls had so much fun playing "princesses" the whole time.
What a wonderful Halloween filled with fun, friends, family and CANDY! (I have been sneaking the girls candy during their naps, yum!)

Corn Maze!

So, as usual, I am a few weeks behind! Nana and Papa came with us to the Corn Maze and pumpkin patch a few weeks ago. We had a lot of fun! We went on the hayride out to the pumpkin patch, picked pumpkins and got lost in the maze. We actually went to the lookout area and asked the worker there howt to get out of the maze because the kiddos were NOT liking it! lol
Kaylynn had to pick a baby pumpkin!

So cute! Just following Papa!

Fish Family Photos 2009

Corn Maze with the Preschool!

For a preschool field trip we headed out to a local corn maze! We had a blast, we rode on the hay bale truck, fed animals, rode on the swings and the train, played in the blow up area, went through the haybale maze and ate super yummy fresh doughnuts! What fun! (sidenote: I forgot my camera that day, so all the photos are curtesy of Mandie and Jen, thanks ladies!)
