The Cutest Lil Smile!

I finally caught Madison's smiles on camera!!!  Every time I have tried in the past few weeks her expression would change as soon as I held up the camera from a smile to the "oh, what's that" face.  She was blowing bubbles and cooing and smiling.  It was so fun!  What a CUTIE!!!!

Kaylynn Can Do It All By Herself!

Kaylynn just keeps getting bigger!  I wish she would stop! No I am enjoying all the new stages.  This week she hit a new level in her big girlness (yes, it's a word LOL)  This week was her first gymnastics class in the "Small Fries" level.  Which means mommy has to stay out of the gym!!!  She is in a class with 6 other rambunctious preschoolers and no parents.  Which is a huge change from the mommy and me class we were doing.  In that class most days we were the only ones in the class.  Ms. Shayna (her teacher) thought it was good idea to move her up to the next level before her third birthday because Kaylynn has been doing mommy and me for a year and a half and was getting a little bored with it.  So here are some pictures of her very last ever mommy and me gymnastics class.  I will miss being in there with her but I love to watch her interact with the other kids on the other side of the glass windows!

Kaylynn absolutely LOVES Ms. Shayna as do I!
Kaylynn is doing a cartwheel...what, you can't tell?!?  He he
Kaylynn's favorite is the Bars and the Rings.  She has super bionic arms that can hold on FOREVER!

Chad Volleyball Team gets 2nd in the Championship Games!

GO VIKINGS!!!!  They did great, going into the Championship they were in 6th place, they beat out the 2nd and 3rd ranked teams.  They lost the Championship game but they played amazing!  What a fantastic way to end a season!  Chad coached these girls last year too and it was sad to watch thier last game together.  Each one of them will always have a place in our hearts.

Adding more Fish to the Family

So before you all start to think that this is a way of announcing a pregnancy just 10 short weeks after Madison's birth...you are WRONG! LOL  We got a fish tank!!!! Well actually we have had the tank for awhile but it is now a home to 4 very funny and active fish.  Kaylynn got to pick her fish out and has named them all.  Tigger is her official first pet.  The other fishes names are Sunbeam, Dora and Lucky. She loves to feed them and watch them swim around and chase each other.

Madison's Two Month Stats

So Madison had to get her immunizations last week.  Her stats are as follows: 85 % for her height (23.5 inches)  75% for her weight (11 lbs 10.5 oz) and 30% for her head measurement (38cm)  So we have a beautiful big girl with a tiny head! LOL  I dunno, she looks well proportioned to me! She handled the shots okay, cried but calmed down rather quickly.
Look at her lil bandaids, super cute one was giraffe print and the other was pink camo.  Her poor lil legs!

Look Who's Two Months Old!

Look at our gorgeous little girl!  We cannot believe that two months have already passed.  We love her sooo much!

Within the last few weeks she has started to really smile big.  She has started "coo and talk" too.  It is really adorable.  So Madison, Happy Two Month Birthday!

Kaylynn's First Wii game!

So Chad had to take back a Wii game that didn't work and he was feeling generous and picked up a game for Kaylynn.  It's a Diego Safari game!  She was so excited!

She helped and elephant dig to find a magic drum and collected diamonds.  She loved it!
(SIDENOTE: I am aware that she is not wearing pants... some days are just like that!)

Full of Joy!

So last Thursday (the day of the Reba Concert, I know I am posting this a little late) I was getting Madison dressed and she was really unhappy with the process.  So I get her all dressed and look down at her and start cracking up!  Here was my lil girl screaming her head off while wearing a shirt that says "Full of Joy" a little ironic huh!
Most of the time she really is "Full of Joy"  she has made our lives so wonderful.  We feel very blessed to have such a beautiful happy baby in our home!  She is so very sweet.  She loves to cuddle right into your neck and suggle.  We love her so very much!
So this is what happens when daddy babysits!!! Ha ha, when he babysat Kaylynn when she was about two months old he made her hair fuzz out like an affro.  Madison doesn't have much hair so he did the next best thing.  He put her pants on her head! LOL
See how "Full of Joy" she is!!!! We just love her so very much!

The I Love You Mix Up and other fun tales!

So yet another cute Kaylynn story.  This last Sunday Chad was ironing his shirt and Kaylynn was playing behind him.  He hears her say "I love you"  to which he happily replies "I love you too" Then she says rather forcifully, "NO, Dad...Elmo!" as she holds Elmo up to show him. HA HA!!!  So I guess Chad knows where he stands in line...right behind Elmo!

Kaylynn has been a ton of fun lately.  The things that pop out of her mouth always make me laugh.  Chad was trying to teach her how to do a knock knock joke a little while ago.  She never really caught on, She would say "knock knock" and we would say "who's there" to which her answer is always "ME!"  so we say "me who?" and she just looks at us like we are crazy because she had already answered that question!  What a hoot!

So you know how some kids have pretend friends...Kaylynn has a pretend husband and everyday this pretend husband has a different name (hopefullly this is no indication of her future! lol) The other day her pretend husband's name was Timmy.  She cooked him dinner and served it to him on the couch.  Chad walked in the room a couple of minutes later and sat on the couch and she freaked out because her daddy sat on her husband while he was eating the dinner she had carefully prepared for him!  Well at least we know she has a good imagination!

The First Snow...yeah I'm serious!

So October 10th marked the first snow of 2008!  A little early huh.  I want my Fall back! Well when it started to snow I took Kaylynn and Madison into Kaylynn's room so that she could stand on her bed and look out the window.  She thought it was sooo cool!  She was laughing hysterically at the snow.  Then when daddy came home they went outside and built a snowman!
Look at the SNOW!!!

I am so excited it's snowing!
Rolling the snow for the bottom of the snowman.
Brrrr it's cold!
Look at my snowman!  But where are his arms???
There, now he's a snowman!
After the snowman adventure daddy decided it was time for a snowy treat.  Bowls of snow with Maple syrup on it.  Kaylynn loved her treat and kept laughing and saying that her teeth were cold.  What a fun time!  But we hope Fall comes back for a little while!

THE BEST BIRTHDAY PRESENT EVER!!!!!!

So my birthday was back in June... and I had to wait until October 9th to get it but it was sooo worth it!!!  Chad got me tickets to the Reba McEntire and Kelly Clarkson concert!  Reba is my absolute favorite performer of all time! In fact she was my first concert when I was twelve back in Tennessee! My mom went with me and it was FABULOUS!!!

Getting ready to leave!
Mom and I before the concert started.  We were super excited!
If you have ever watched the TV Show "Reba"  you know who Barbara Jean is... well her real name is Melissa and she did some stand up as a warm up for Reba and Kelly.  She was a hoot!
These are a little out of order, but in the middle of the concert when they were about to sing "Survivor" (the theme sond to Reba) Mellisa crashed the concert.  It was so funny she was full on Barbara Jean and Reba immediately became her character from the show.  So funny!  Melissa sang with them even though Reba told her not too!

This was when they came out for the encore.
This was the ultimate in girls night out! Mom and I had so much fun!  It was a much needed break from life for a few hours!  Thanks hubby for the best bday present ever!

We LOVE Coach!!!

Chad coaches 9th grade Volleyball at a Junior High.  This is his second year coaching.  He loves it and we love to go to the games and cheer the girls on!  We have become very attatched to his team.  Kaylynn loves to watch daddy coach.
I made them shirts, Kaylynn's says "Coach in Training" and Madison's says "li'l coach"  I also made bows in the team's colors for them!

Daddy We Love You!!!

Kaylynn's First Day of Preschool!!!

She s growing up soooo fast!  Sept. 30, 2008 was Kaylynn's first day of preschool!  She won't be 3 until December but myself and four other moms started a preschool co-op type thing.  It's once a week and we take turns teaching.  Kaylynn went to her second day at preschool yesterday.  She loves going to her "fwool" yes I know, we are working on the "s" sound!

She was so excited it was hard for her to sit still long enough to take a picture!
Let's go Mom!!! I'm going to fwool!!!

Kaylynn the official gymnast!

Kaylynn has been taking a mommy and me gymnastics class since she was 18 months old.  She absolutely loves her class.  She has learned so much and grown during her gymnastics classes.  This is something she will probably love and continue to do for years.  In a few weeks she gets to move up to the next class where there are no parents...yay!  She just got her first leotard and we took pictures before gymnastics.
This picture was supposed to be at the end but I can't move it and am sick of trying!  She was so tuckerd out after gymnastics this week that she fell asleep in the car.  This girl never falls asleep in the car!  Even on road trips to Utah she doesn't fall asleep!

This is a stradle.
This is Kaylynn and her standing up stradle.

Isn't she soooo cute in her lil leotard!
I am so not going to spell this right but this is an arabesque.  This is her favorite gymnastics position!
This is a table.
This is a candlestick, although her arms should be on the ground.
This is Kaylynn's V Sit.  She has so much fun in gymnastics.  It has been a wonderful investment.  We love our lil gymnast!!!!
